Cleveland’s iconic East 4th Street is a short, pedestrian only street that connects the gateway district to Euclid Avenue right across from the Arcade’s south entrance. It is lined with shops, restaurants and bars and is often bustling with activity.
There are several alleyways that branch off from East 4th that often promise some great texture and light if the crowds on East 4th get to thick, which can sometimes happen on game days.
We have found that the best backgrounds can be found if we start on the Prospect end of East 4th and north towards the arcade. That way, we can make use of the overhead string lights and the facade of the Cleveland Arcade which is often lit up at night.
While we don’t recommend spending a lot of time at East 4th on your wedding day, it’s a great stop to quickly hop out and capture some quintessential Cleveland vibes if we happen to be in the downtown area.
