Jen and Kellen knew from the start that their wedding was going to be a little bit different. They weren’t terribly interested in many of the trappings that often surround a wedding, but they knew what they did want out of their day; a stress free, fun and relaxing day to celebrate their marriage with their friends and family, and some great images in locations and settings that were important to them to help commemorate it. We were quite happy to play our part in the latter.
We started off with a first look that took place on the roof of Jen and Kellen’s apartment building. It provided a nice, open space with some nice views as well as a periodic cloud of pigeons that would swoop around us before settling back down on the building next door. We then headed towards downtown to hit a few of Jen and Kellen’s hangout spots and to give the boys a chance to throw down a pint or two.
Massimo De Milano served as the “ceremony” and reception location. I put “ceremony” in quotes because it broke our all time record for shortest ceremony. Three minutes and twenty seconds. Just how they wanted it.
