We recently had the pleasure of joining Scott and Sarah on their wedding day in Cleveland, Ohio. We had such a great time getting to know them and their families along with the members of their bridal party. Sarah is vivacious and full of life and is the perfect compliment to Scott’s calm but caring demeanor. It’s a balance that Genevieve and I have enjoyed for our entire relationship.
The ceremony took place at the Amasa Stone Chapel located on the Case Western Reserve campus in the heart of University Circle. The afternoon sun streaked across the alter as the ceremony progressed bathing Scott and Sarah in sunlight through the tall stained glass windows. Scott and Sarah invited their uncle to officiate which added a nice personal touch to the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we made our way to the Connar Theater where Sarah and her family had gone many times through her childhood to see shows and plays. Sarah had always dreamed of having the theater be a part of her wedding day so we are thrilled that we were able to help make that happen for her.
The family and bridal party then joined the guests at the Renaissance Hotel for cocktail hour and reception. Sarah’s mom, Laura, the staff at the Renaissance, Blooms by Plantscaping and Jennifer of Heart 2 Heart Occasions all worked together to design and orchestrate a beautiful evening with great food, drinks, and dancing that went into the night.
