Chris and JoAnna’s wedding started out bright and early for a morning ceremony at the Medallion Country Club near Columbus, Ohio. The may have kept us from having the outside ceremony that was planned on but it certainly didn’t damped the spirits of anyone at the wedding. One of the unexpected benefits of the rain was that if forced us to consider locations and options for photos that we probably wouldn’t have otherwise, like the racquet ball courts at the club house. The stark white walls and the plexiglass gave us some new ideas and we were able to explore some new looks, which you will get to see below.
The ceremony was immediately followed by a brunch reception complete with ice cream from the locally famous Jeni’s Ice Cream which turned out to be some of the best I’ve had. By the time the reception wound down, the rain had stopped and we had some fabulously rolling dark clouds to play with outside at the golf course. After that, the four of us headed down to Short North where it just happened to be Gallery Hop night which meant the place was bustling with activity. Once we got tired of the crowds, we headed over to the North Shore area for some peace and quiet where we finished off the day.
