Kate & Brian

Kate and Brian’s beautiful summer wedding took place The Chagrin Valley Hunt Club in historic Gates Mills, Ohio.  We’ve had the opportunity to shoot several engagement sessions and portrait sessions in the area but we’ve been hoping for a chance to shoot a wedding here for quite a while.  It really is the perfect setting if you are looking for a natural almost garden like feel for your ceremony and reception and having Tricia Dever as your wedding planning is one of the very best ways to make sure everything goes off without a hitch.

Upon arrival, we found out that Kate had completely lost her voice and was left with nothing above a whisper.  She carried around a little notebook with some pre-written phrases on it and a pen in case she need to communicate any more than that.  The irony of the “in sickness and in health” portion of the vows was certainly not lost on the guests.

Despite Kate being a lady of relatively few words, she certainly didn’t let that get in the way of thoroughly enjoying the day and the time spent with loved ones.

Congratulations, Kate and Brian!  We’re so glad to have been a part of your day.
