Lauren and Michael planned an amazing wedding celebration at Gervasi Winery with the ceremony taking place at St Vincent to incorporate both of the cities where they grew up. While Lauren is from Canton and Michael is from Akron, it took a fortuitous encounter some 400 miles away at an airport in New York for them to build a connection. Sadly it took yet another year before Michael finally picked up the phone to reconnect but the two have been inseparable ever since.
Interesting side story is that I’ve know Lauren’s mom, Deb, for over a decade from working at Williams-Sonoma. At the time I was dabbling in photography and enjoyed working along side other foodies like myself. I was thrilled when Deb called asking us to photograph this festive occasion for the family. James and I had an amazing time capturing the day and all the significant people and moments that played a part in it! Thanks for having us.
