Brittany and Travis’ wedding at The Silver Grille in Cleveland, Ohio was a perfect reflection of their personalities.  With the help of Maria from Elegant Events by Maria, they managed to strike an amazing balance of class and sophistication will still keeping the day warm, inviting, personal, and centered around the family and friends that are all so important to them.
The ceremony took place at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Hudson where Brittany grew up and where her parents still attend to this day. Â Brittany even found a photo hanging on the wall when she was in the choir as a child. There wasn’t a seat to spare during the ceremony and scarcely a dry eye in the room during the candle lighting ceremony. Â Including Travis’.
After the ceremony, we stopped by the central gazebo in Downtown Hudson to bring a little more of Brittany’s home town into the photography coverage.  The rain kept our time there short but I’m really glad we were able to stop there and make those photos for her.
We made our way north to Cleveland where we shot in and around the newly renovated Public Square and Tower City Terminal where we were surrounded by classic, historic architecture.  This was the perfect segue to the also classic and historic Silver Grille located inside the Higbee Building.  The Silver Grille was once an elegant restaurant which has been painstakingly renovated to it’s original art deco luster.  You really feel like you step back in time when you enter which further helped transport Brittany, Travis, and their guests to another time and place for their reception.
Brittany and Travis – we are so glad we got to be a part of your wedding and we can’t wait to show you everything that we have! Â In the meantime, here are some of our favorites. Â We hope you enjoy them!
