Robert and Alecia first met on the floor of a Ford Motor Company manufacturing plant where they both still work today. Many of Robert and Alecia’s friends and family have connections to automotive manufacturing that go back decades, which is a point of pride for many of them. And rightfully so. As a couple, Robert and Alecia know not to take themselves too seriously which means frequent outburst of laughter, affectionately calling people idiots, and the occasional “middle” (or more often, ring) finger are all par for the course.
Both Robert and Alecia shared a Villa for morning prep before heading out on the grounds of the vineyard for photos. We were able to take our time hitting a number of our favorite spots around the grounds as well as a few new spots as well. Robert’s idea of renting a golf cart was a huge help and allowed us to get so much more done compared to what we would have been able to do otherwise.
The ceremony behind the Grand Villa was a short, intimate affair with only their family and closest friends present. The end of the ceremony rolled immediately into cocktail where as many more friends and family joined for dinner and dancing at the reception inside the Grand Villa. Alecia has an affinity for hot chocolate so in addition to the usual full bar and dinner service, there was a hot chocolate bar with a range of toppings availabile, which was a huge hit with the guests.
