Sometimes life happens at it’s own pace. It took years of living in the same neighborhood in Murray Hill, frequenting the same restaurants, shops, and eventually the same personal trainer before Shannon and Gary were able to connect over some particularly grueling workouts. But no matter how long it took, the important thing is that they did finally connect, and this past Saturday, a new family was formed. Gary and his son Brandon, with Shannon and her daughter Gianna.
After morning preparations at the Wyndham Hotel, it was off to Wade Lagoon near Case Western, Gary’s alma mater, where Gary and Shannon had their first date. We were able to work our way around the pond to the very bench where they spent that date, with the sky threatening all the while, but never following through on that threat. We had just enough time for a quick round at Dolce Vita, their favorite restaurant in Little Italy, before heading off to the Cleveland City Hall Rotunda for the ceremony and reception.
Brandi of All Events Planned along with The Budding Tree and Party Decor all helped Shannon and Gary put together a beautifully decorated and elegant setting that matched perfectly with the pillars and marble of the Rotunda.
Gary and Shannon, thank you so much for making us a part of your wedding. We had a great time with you and we’re so glad you found each other!
