Elizabeth and Christopher’s fall wedding at the Marriott Key Center was such a joy to be a part of and we are so glad that we had a chance to get to know these two and their families a little better on their big day. Â Elizabeth are two very thoughtful, caring, outgoing and fun loving individuals that have the ability to make you feel instantly comfortable and welcome around them. Â When we met their parents, it was easy to see where these traits came from.
The day started with wedding day prep at the Marriott where we would eventually return for the reception. Â Elizabeth and Chris had gifts for their bridal parties and exchanged gifts and letters to each other. Â We love seeing our couples write letters to each other; it’s an amazing way to make a connection on your wedding day and really helps set the tone for for the rest of the day.
The day continued with a first look at Wade Lagoon, which we basically had all to ourselves. Â The fall colors where absolutely stunning around the lagoon and we had a fun, relaxed time with Elizabeth and Chris as we walked around the grounds with them. Â The bridal party joined us for a short while before we all walked across the street to the stunningly gorgeous and historic University Circle United Methodist Church for the ceremony.
The fine folks at Pieter Bouterse Studio and the staff at the Marriott took Elizabeth’s vision and turned into a reality that surpassed their most ambitions expectations. Â They transformed the entire room into a cozy, welcoming environment that was the perfect setting for the night’s celebrations. And to polish it off, our good friend Scott E. Jones MC’d the night and provided the music and entertainment for the dance floor.
Chris and Elizabeth – thank you so much for trusting us with your wedding photos and for making us feel so welcome and at home with your friends and family. Â You all have been an absolutely pleasure to work with! Â Here are some of our favorites from the day with much more coming soon!
