Luke and Annie’s wedding at the Chagrin Valley Hunt Club hit all the right notes to balance fun, informal, and comfortable with elegant, smart, and refined which seemed to align with their personalities just perfectly. They are fun, lighthearted caring people and after meeting their families, it was clear where these character traits came from. One of Annie and Luke’s top priorities was for their families and guests to be able to relax, unwind and have a great time, and I think the outdoor ceremony and the stunning tented reception on the back lawn did just that.
One of the highlights of the day was when Luke’s father and brother officiated the ceremony under the big oak tree. This added a very intimate, personal touch that I think everyone at the wedding will remember for a very long time. Genevieve’s father co-officiated our wedding as well and it’s a memory that I still treasure to this day.
After the ceremony, it was dinner and dancing under a the stars in Able Rent’s stunningly beautiful clear tent. We were under the stars, this is, until the rain came. But, there was no dampening the energy on the dance floor which stayed elbow tight and very active all night long.
Luke and Annie; you two are both wonderful, beautiful people inside and out and you made us feel so welcome and appreciated on your wedding day. We are super proud of the images that we where able to create for you and the moments that we where able to capture. Thank you so much for lettings us into your lives and for trusting us to do that for you. Here are just some of our favorites with much more to come very soon!
Such fun….so beautiful….incredible band and music…such a sweet service and vows were so sweet and real! Photos brought it all back. Such a beautiful and fun wedding.
“Wow” is all I can say.
That was a phenomenal day, and will always have its place in my heart as one of my fondest memories. Not only was I unreservedly happy about the union of my son Luke and his betrothed Annie, but it was a gorgeous and incredibly FUN wedding! What a celebration, what indescribably touching and sincere marital vows, what a band with great horns and singers, the DANCING, what delicious food, varied drinks flowing, wonderful toasts to the couple, unparalleled flowers, super new inlaws, and you are probably ready for me to stop now! To Todd and Susan for a #10 wedding and celebration, to Luke and Annie for all their choices and input into that day, to that handsome hunk who officiated over the ceremony ( and shared 36 yr of marriage with me), and all the beautiful/handsome wedding party ( who really knew how to let go and party afterwards). On and on, words cannot describe all that was in my heart that day. A proper celebration to launch Luke and Annie on their life together.
