What do you get when you mix Irish Riverdance, Air Force fighter pilots, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? It sounds like the setup to a really bad joke, but the results were actually pretty spectacular. Kelly, the Riverdancer, and Matt, the fighter pilot, combined all these elements and more for one amazing blow out celebration of their wedding at St. Coleman Catholic Church in Cleveland.
After the ceremony ended, we took a chance with what looked like a break in the rain and took the “scenic route” (ahem) toward the airport for some aviation themed bridal party photos. While on the way, we happened to spot one of the most amazing displays of fall color we have yet seen down a dead end street. The opportunity was too good to pass up we made the most of that location before the rain chased us back to the limo.
When it comes to fantastic spaces to have a party, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has to be one of the best in the city. From the architecture, rock history artifacts, the staff, and the food, it’s really hard to do better, and this reception was no exception. The Orchestra had no problem keeping the dance floor packed, and even when they took a break, everyone was treated to a display to Irish traditional dance courtesy of all the friends Kelly made on tour with Riverdance.
Thank you so much, Matt and Kelly, for having us be a part of your day. Congratulations, and we can’t wait to show you the rest!
