Located in Canton Ohio, Gervasi Vineyard has quickly become one of Ohio’s top venues for wedding ceremonies and receptions. With multiple event venues, two restaurants, a hotel, private villas, and 55 acres of vineyards and farmland, Gervasi can be a single destination for an entire wedding weekend.
The Villas
The Villas are Tuscan inspired mini-hotels with four rooms and a shared common area. These are the perfect overnight accommodations for the couple, their families, and possibly the bridal party. One huge advantage of reserving all four rooms in one Villa is that the bridal party now has full use of the beautiful common. This makes for a perfect spot for the bride and groom to get ready with their bridal parties and it provides a safe location for everyone to stash their belongings during the festivities. We have seen it work out very well where the groom, the groom’s family, and groomsmen all share one Villa, and the bride, the bride’s family, and the bridesmaids share another. That way, they each have separate but close getting ready spaces.
The Villa Grande
The Villa Grande is a Tuscan inspired event facility nestled near the back of the property with a 1920 square foot elegant ballroom featuring stucco walls, carpeted floors, and rustic chandeliers. There is a large atrium area with soft seating, mezzanine, and a fireplace. There is also an outdoor partially covered veranda which connects the Villa Grande to the nearby Villas. Unlike the Pavillion, the Villa Grande is available year-round for receptions up to 120 guests with both indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies and cocktail hour. The Villa Grande also serves as a central hub and lobby for the nearby Villas.

A bride in a white gown and short hair stands in the background, reacting excitedly with her hands up during the ceremony. A groom in a blue suit with a white shirt, tie, and boutonnière stands slightly out of focus. They are outside a building with large windows in Cleveland, ready for their reception.
The Conservatory
Located right next to the Villa Grande and The Villas is The Conservatory; an elegant, beautifully made greenhouse that can accommodate smaller wedding ceremonies of up to 40 guests. Potted plants and lush greenery are maintained year-round and the Tuscan inspired construction materials and rustic wrought iron chandelier add to the ambiance.
The Farmhouse
The farmhouse is the homestead of the original farm and can be reserved for an overnight stay. This can be another great prep area for the wedding day.

A bride in a white, intricately beaded wedding dress stands in a softly lit room, preparing for the ceremony. A bridesmaid in a black dress is assisting her by fastening the back of the gown. The room, featuring a floor lamp and sheer curtains, creates a warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for this special moment.

A group of groomsmen in suits enjoys a moment outdoors near a brown house in Akron. One man, in a blue vest, stands poised to throw a football while others watch and chat nearby. An outdoor table with drinks and snacks is under a red and black patio umbrella, adding to the casual reception atmosphere.

A white wedding dress hangs on a wooden hanger attached to a brown frame mirror, reflecting the anticipation of the upcoming wedding. The lace bodice dazzles with intricate beading, flowing into a voluminous tulle skirt. A white ribbon crowns the hanger, adorned with "Miss to Mrs." in delicate script.

A newlywed couple stands in the center of a group in front of a rustic house at their Cleveland wedding. The bride, in a white gown holding a bouquet, and the groom, in a gray suit, are surrounded by their bridal party dressed in navy blue and gray. Everyone smiles as they pose on the steps and porch around them.
The Pavilion
The Pavilion is an open are structure large enough to seat 300 guests for dinner. It’s nestled neatly between the vineyard and the lake and is the perfect spot for an outdoor ceremony and reception.
Conclusion
Gervasi Vineyard offers a stunning array of options for your wedding ceremony and reception both indoor and outdoor. The conservatory is perfect for small intimate weddings while the Pavilion is large enough to hold a crowd. The staff is phenomenal and while it’s extremely close to the Belden Village shopping area, you really feel as if you spending your day in the Tuscan countryside. It’s no surprise that Gervasi has become the premier wedding venue in Stark County. If you are planning a Gervasi Vineyard wedding, we think you would be very happy if you chose us to photograph it.
