Emma and Kurt’s winter wedding at the Union Club in Cleveland, Ohio was an elegant, classy affair with good food and good drinks in a beautiful, historic setting. Â Both Emma an Kurt are easy going individuals and they let that show in their relationship. Â They are both kind, patient, and were just a pleasure to be around on their wedding day.
Emma’s day started at the Union Club where she joined up with her bridesmaids for hair and makeup while Kurt and his groomsmen convened at Emma’s parent’s new home. Â In an interesting twist of timing, Â the movers where still helping Emma’s family move in the morning of the wedding while the guys got dressed. Talk about an exciting week! Â Hopefully things have settled down a little for the Knoth family and they can enjoy their new home.
The ceremony took place at St. Dominic where Emma’s family have been long time members and where Emma was an altar server in her childhood. Â The priest officiating has known the Knoth family for many many years and was able to add the perfect personal touch to the ceremony. Â I think my favorite moment of the day was when Emma popped out of the bridal room for a minute to see her Dad. Â They shared a very powerful moment together and we where quite honored to be able to capture that for them.
After the ceremony, we ran off with the bridal party to the Art Museum for photos near the South entrance. Â The bridesmaids where absolute troopers but we tried to not keep them in the cold any longer than we needed to. Â We retreated back to the warmth of the Union Club just as the snow started to fall. Â We saw the opportunity to make something unique so we grabbed Emma and Kurt, headed out on foot to the Playhouse Square chandelier and created our favorite portraits of the day just as the snow was starting to fall.
Emma and Kurt; thank you so much for trusting us with the memories of your wedding day and we hope you treasure these images for many years to come! Â Here are just a few of our favorites with much more to come very soon!
