Oliver and Kaila’s wedding last Sunday at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens was an absolute blast. We’ve photographed many Jewish weddings in the past, but Kaila and Oliver introduced us to a host of new Jewish wedding traditions, the names of which I will not pretend to know how to spell. Kaila’s Mom, Carol, was right; it really was a cultural experience for us. One thing that really stood out to us is that these people know how to celebrate! The singing and dancing and clapping and stomping starts early and goes late, and there’s no room for timid feet shuffling on the dance floor. As you can see in the photos below, things got quite intense, so if you want to participate, you better be ready! One thing was abundantly clear; everyone was having a blast and was celebrating with Oliver and Kaila in the very best way they know how. It was a wonderful thing to witness.
Congratulations, Oliver and Kaila, and thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your day!
