After a weekend off for a little R&R, we were right back at it this weekend for Lauren and Ted’s wedding at the Union Club. I don’t think anyone expected that Lauren and Ted’s wedding day would turn out to be such a beautiful November day, and I’m very glad we got a chance to make the most of it with the couple and the bridal party at the Italian Cultural Gardens.
During the ceremony, Lauren and Ted surprised everyone by writing their own vows to each other. All it took was a simple coin toss to decide who would go first. My favorite line? Ted’s opening line of “Even after that very first date, I knew that you wanted to marry me.” Well played, sir. Well played.
