As much as we love shooting in all of our favorite venues in and around Cleveland, driving south into the heart of Mohican State Park for Matt and Jeannie’s wedding at Running River Farm was a very nice change of pace.  Running River Farm is a tree farm that Matt’s Dad started from.  Matt and Jeannie often spend time  at the farm helping out to clear their minds and just get away form the stresses of every day life.
When it came time to choose a location for their wedding, the tree farm was the obvious choice. Â With its rich family history, natural beauty, and secluded location, it was just the perfect place for all of their friends and family to gather to celebrate. Â The barn provided a perfect backdrop for the ceremony and a tent set up on the side lawn housed the ceremony. Â Some members of the bridal party and some close friends even camped at the farm the night before the wedding.
But as much as we loved the choice of venue, it was Matt and Jeannie that really made the day special. Â It was a non-stop flow of happy tears and laughter all day and we had such a great time getting to know the bridal party and the families.
One of my favorite parts of the day was when we all jumped into the little utility vehicle and Matt drove us up to the top of the hill where the largest tree on the property was. Â It was an old majestic tree and we had a great time making some amazing images in, under, and around it.
Matt and Jeannie, we are super excited about the photos we were able to make for you guys and the moments we were able to capture. Â Below are just some of our favorites. Â Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your day!
