About a month before Jacee and Michael’s wedding at La Pizzaria in Canton, I received a very unusual phone call from Michael. Cathedral of Life church, where Michael is Associate Pastor and where Michael and Jacee originally met many years ago, had suffered a fire the night before and had sustained extensive fire, smoke, and water damage. Not only did this mean that Michael and his family had to find out where they would hold church services for the foreseeable future, but they also now had a month to find a new ceremony location somewhere in Canton, Ohio that could seat nearly seven hundred people.
After an extensive search, they were able to make arrangements with Crossroads United Methodist in Downtown Canton. Crossroads is a beautiful, historic building and was once the place of worship for President McKinley, and most importantly, it was able to seat all the friends, family, and church family that came out to celebration Michael and Jacee’s wedding.
The deep connection that Michael and Jacee share through their faith was extremely evident all throughout the day. Michael’s father, the head pastor at Cathedral of Life, officiated the ceremony and roughly two dozen area pastors joined in a joint prayer during a particularly touching moment in the ceremony.
Michael and Jacee – it has been such a pleasure getting to know you and we are so glad to have been a part of your wedding! Below are some of our favorites from you day, and we can’t wait to show you the rest!
