Craig and Lauren’s wedding at City Hall Rotunda is definitely going down as one of our absolute favorite weddings of the year. Â We first met Lauren and her family many moons ago when we have the pleasure of photographing her sister, Erin’s, wedding. Â We had such a great time with Erin and Brian so we were beyond excited when Lauren and Craig contacted us about photographing their wedding. Â The day started with pre-ceremony prep at The Hilton; one of Cleveland’s newest and coolest looking hotels. Â There was a slight mixup in Lauren’s room selection so the hotel staff put her up in the presidential suite. Â The floor to ceiling windows and stunning views of downtown Cleveland made it a dream to shoot in. Â The suite was so beautiful and spacious that they decided to use it host brunch for the family the day after.
The ceremony took place St. Ann’s Parish in Coventry.  Craig and Lauren invited a priest they knew well from their time at John Carroll University which added a very special personal touch to the ceremony.  After the ceremony, we made our way to Shaker Lakes Park where we made use of the sunlight filtering through the beautiful fall colors and idilic weather.
After a quick hair and makeup change and little bit of down time for the guys, we reconvened in Downtown Cleveland for some epic cityscape photos on The Mall. Â The light had reached a beautiful angle by that point in the day and we were happy to make the most of it.
The reception with dinner and dancing at The City Hall Rotunda finished out the night with spectacular fashion. Â My favorite part of the night was when Lauren’s Dad came out on the dance floor to start the famous G family wedding tradition. Â I’m pretty sure they stacked them even higher than they did for Erin and Brian’s wedding. Â You’re just going to have to scroll down to see what I’m talking about.
Craig and Lauren – it was so great to see you and your families again and we are so grateful to have been a part of your day. Â We are so excited to show you everything we have for you, but in the meantime, here is a small selection of our favorites. Â Enjoy!
