Lauren & Daniel

We have been looking forward to Lauren and Daniel’s wedding at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge in New York City for quite a while now.  We first met Lauren and Daniel when we photographer her sister, Dana’s, wedding in Cleveland a few years ago.  We had a great time getting to know the family and they made us feel right at home, so we were quite excited to hear that we would be seeing everyone again, but in New York City this time!

Even though Lauren grew up in Cleveland, she always knew that New York City, and more than likely a career in fashion, would be in her future.  After a lot of hard work, the support of her amazingly close and loving family, and a short stint in another city that shall remain nameless, that vision for her future has become a reality.  And now, what better way to complete that vision then to find the man of her dreams to live this life with in Daniel.

Being a New York City girl at heart, Lauren knew that her wedding would aim to encapsulate as much of the city as possible.  As soon as they stepped foot inside the brand new 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge in the heart of Brooklyn’s Dumbo neighborhood, they knew they had found their spot.  The lobby and rooms of the hotel are stunningly beautiful and amazingly decorated and the rooftop bar and adjacent Brooklyn Bridge Park offer amazing views of not only the iconic bridge but of lower Manhattan across the river.

In the end, we had an amazing day with Lauren and Daniel, their families, bridal party, and guests.  We had beautiful blue skies for our time on the rooftop and the rain politely held off until we where all safely inside for the ketubah signing, ceremony, and reception.  Lauren and Daniel – thank you so much for bringing us out to photograph your day; we feel so honored to have been a part of it!  Here are just some of our favorites with lots, lots more coming very soon!
