Ben and Sarah’s Union Club wedding was such a blast to be a part of. Sarah’s kind, attentive, upbeat personality and Ben’s easy going, somewhat reserved, yet comfortable nature made our job such a pleasure. We felt instantly welcomed by bridal party and family alike which made us able to capture so many little moments throughout the day.
The day started with prep at The Union Club followed by the ceremony at The Old Stone Church on Public Square. It’s been quite a while since we have photographed a wedding ceremony at Old Stone so it was great to be back. The weather was beautiful so the stained glass windows shone brightly providing a beautiful contrast to the historic dark wood trim.
After the ceremony we set off to find some old world Cleveland charm with the bridal party. We found ourselves in the once desolate but now booming flats where we found some amazing light and some great textures and colors.
Finally, we all landed back at the Union Club for a stunningly elegant reception. Blooms by Plantscaping provided beautiful floral appointments and Bill Bowen for Cleveland Music Group kept the dance floor busy all night.
