Adam and Lauren’s wedding at Tenk West Bank was a very special day for us as wedding photographers. Â We first got to know Adam’s family nine years ago when we photographed his brother, Anthony, and Carla’s wedding on the shore of Lake Erie. Â It was an amazing day and we used their wedding as a sample album in the studio for years. Â Fast forward to 2017, and we were offered the opportunity to photograph his sister, Ali, and Jason’s wedding on the penthouse level of the Ernst & Young building. Â They also put together an amazing wedding album and the cover of their album might be one of our favorite album cover designs to date. Â You can find it if you dig around on our Instagram account a little bit. Â A year later, we got an email from Lauren asking if were available to make it a hat trick of Tubbs family weddings. Â We were available for the date, the stars aligned, and we made it happen! Â It was so awesome to see not only Adam, Ali, and Anthony’s family again, but also Carla’s and Jason’s, and it was an absolute pleasure to get to know Lauren’s family this time around as well.
Lauren started her day with prep at the house that she and Adam have made into their home over the last couple of years.  Adam proposed to Lauren on the front step of this house shortly after they bought it together which makes it that much better this their house got to be a character in the story of their wedding day.  After an amazing first look in their back yard and a few glasses of champagne, we piled into the limo bus together and set off to make some awesome images together.  Adam and Lauren gave us free rein on our choice of locations since we had a very good idea of what type of images they like and what fits their personality so we got to try out some new spots as well as some old favorites.  One brilliant suggestion that Adam had  was to stop at a Duck – Rabbit Coffee for a round of espresso before heading to Tenk for the ceremony and reception.  This broke up the day perfectly, gave everyone a nice little caffeine jolt, and is now something I highly recommend if you can fit it into your wedding day.
The ceremony and reception at Tenk West Bank in the flats was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect setting for Adam and Lauren. Â The floral decor was beautiful, the strings of lights hanging from the rafters really amped up the atmosphere and the whole space was punctuated by massive light up letters Jason made spelling out the wedding day hashtag. Â It was a perfect day of love, laughter, drinks, food, and a few happy tears, and we are so glad we got to be there to document it! Â Congrats, Adam and Lauren!
