Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens is a very special place for Nick and Jessie.  Their families have a deep history with the Hall and it was the setting for Nick’s proposal to Jessie that eventually led us to their wedding day.
It’s a bit of a bold move to plan an outdoor ceremony in November in Ohio, but it could not have paid off any better for Jessie and Nick. Â The temperature was perfect, the air clear, and the unusually warm weather late into the year meant the fall color peaked at just about this time.
But all the beautiful settings and surroundings don’t mean anything if you aren’t surrounding by wonderful, caring, and genuine people. Â It was so wonderful to see Jessie and Nick’s family and friends rally around them as the promised to put each other before themselves, and God before all else. Â While the wedding was beautifully planned and deftly executed, it was clear what was ultimately the most important to them – relationships.
After the ceremony on the Stan Hywet back terrace, we made our way to Severance Hall with the bridal party where the Cleveland Youth Orchestra serenaded us while made use of some amazing light streaming in through the windows.  As we left Severance Hall for the reception, the sun was getting just low enough to really make the fall colors glow, so we hopped across the street to Wade Lagoon to make the most of the opportunity.
I think the highlight of the reception at the Independence Embassy Suites was when Nick made good on his promise to sing faithfully by Journey to Jessie on their wedding day.  He saddled up to the piano and belted it out much to the delight of everyone in the room.
Jessie and Nick; we had so much a great time with you guys! Â Here are some of our favorites from the day. Â Hope you enjoy them!
