Derek & Amy

Tricia Dever of Always Eventful is one of our favorite people, so when she contacted us about Derek and Amy’s wedding, with incredible floral design by Twigs and Twine, at our hometown favorite Brookside Country Club, Heather and I were all in!

We started at the Glenmoor Bertram to get ready, and then made our way to St. Peter Catholic Church for the ceremony.  We then headed to Brookside for photos and the reception.  Luckily photos were done, and everyone was safely inside before the torrential downpour hit!

Both families were inspiring for Heather and I, as we work on building our own.  There was lots of love going around, and you can tell by the emotional moments that Derek, Amy, their siblings and parents have great relationships.  Amy’s dad’s speech was an all time great, and I hope to have a catalog of memories just like that someday.
