Scott and Jen’s wedding this past Saturday was one of those all too rare weddings with a schedule that provided almost more than enough time to hang out with, photograph, and experiment with the bridal party and the bride and groom. With almost three hours to use up, we had the opportunity to pursue ideas and inspirations that sometimes have to be back-burned because of time constraints. This worked out well for Scott and Jen as they made it very clear to us that their wedding photography was very, very high on their priority list. Combine that with absolutely perfect weather and shooting conditions and you have a recipe for a ton of really cool material.
We started the day at the Church of the Assumption in Mentor.

That seventh shot (the outdoor formal) is really cool. Looks like you were shooting into the sun too – it takes a lot of skill to do that and get results like yours.
The first one is great as well – love the emotion.
Congrats on some really nice shots!
Beautiful shots as always, you guys are very inspirational!
