Allyse and Mac may have formed their relationship while living in New York City, but it was an easy to choice to come back to Allyse’s home town of Akron, Ohio for their beautiful fall wedding at Portage Country Club. Rain and wind chased us all inside in front of the hearth for the ceremony, which turned out beautifully anyway, thanks to the warm ambiance provided by the club. We made quick work of the bridal party portraits after the ceremony due to fridged temps, but but Mac and Allyse’s fun loving, easy going personalities provided some great material for us to capture.
Once everyone was back inside and fed, the evening turned into an epic dance party complete with bourbon, cigars, and ligthsticks. It really was fantastic night. Mac claims to not be a very good dancer, but it might have been just the right mix of friends, family and booze, because he certainly didn’t seem to have a problem gettin’ down.
