Heather and Jarred’s Manhattan elopement was a surprise to a few people, including us. They told us their plans to get married about a week before all four of us were headed to New York City for a mini vacation and to see Sigur Ros in concert. Originally we discussed taking their engagement photos in the city since they were long overdue. Somehow that session turned into an intimate ceremony in Central Park with photos following at some favorite places around Manhattan including Grand Central Terminal.
Over the past five years, Heather, Jarred, James and I have become close friends even if technically we should be “competitors”. You see, Jarred and Heather are the duo behind Inlux Photography. We’ve shared some great times over the last few years and both James and I are so thrilled we were able to play a part in their wedding. It was a bigger part than we’ve ever played since in essence we were the photographers, witnesses (even signed the license), bridal party and guests.
Thanks so much Heather and Jarred for trusting us to capture these important memories for you and your families! I hope you both love the following images and I will soon stop biting my nails waiting to hear your thoughts. (For those that don’t know: I love the shooting other photographers’ weddings but the added pressure and expectations make me extra nervous)
Now here are some of James’ images:
And now mine: (James didn’t give me a photo limit so I may have gotten a little carried away)
