Mary and Erik got our season off to a great start on Saturday. We were both hoping we hadn’t lost our edge since we haven’t shot a wedding since January, but once we started shooting, we fell into a groove right away and the ideas and inspiration flowed. It’s always a little risky hoping for outdoor photos in early April, but Mary and Erik got a really nice break in the weather and we were able to have all kinds of fun near their reception site at the Old Courthouse in Downtown Cleveland.
As a bonus, we got to work with some of your favorite wedding colleagues, 2nd Mile Productions for Video and Scott Jones from Jerry Bruno Productions. Working with top talent makes our job much easier and really helps the flow of the day.

Aloha Genevieve and James,
We were so anxious to see the pics we had to take a peek from here in Waikiki Beach!! The pictures are amazing! We are so lucky that you both were a part of our day. Thank you so much for all of your talent!!! We are the happiest couple!! We will treasure these pictures and memories for a lifetime!

great shots! the weather was perfect saturday.
Soooo happy you both took the time to check in and comment from your honeymoon! Not sure if you noticed but we got a little carried away with the amount of images from your wedding because of how many we REALLY liked. We’re having a very difficult time now choosing the keepers and I can’t imagine what we’ll do for your album.
Thanks Rob for the comment!
Your bridal portraits are awesome!
I just did a wedding there myself on Saturday and it is a GORGEOUS location, hope I did it as much justice as you all have. These images are SPECTACULAR!!
This wedding was beautiful! Can I ask what church the couple used!? Thanks!
Thanks Angela! The church was St Basil the Great in Brecksville: http://www.basilthegreat.org It has a stunning dramatic stain glass window.
We were thinking about getting married in the Courthouse. As a professional photographer, do you think that is one of the better venues in Cleveland? Also, do you have an opinion on the acoustics? When we visited, it seemed that there would be a lot of echoing and it would be quite loud.
Those pictures look terrific! The Old Courthouse has been one of our top choices but the acoustics make us nervous. The wedding planner said there will be echoing but we were wondering to what extent it was? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
