Allan & Svetlana

Allan and Svetlana’s wedding at Mapleside Farms just outside of Cleveland was such an amazing day for everyone involved and we are so glad that we got to be a part of it.  While we have shot weddings at Mapleside Farms before, this was our first reception inside the barn and we were really looking forward to it.  The barn at Mapleside provides a perfect balance of rustic and refined which got elevated to a whole other level by the efforts of Elegant Events by Maria, Reilly’s Originals, and of course, Svetlana, Allan, and their families.  The centerpiece of the decor was a stunning suspended floral arrangement over a long king’s table going right down the center of the barn that you just have to see for yourself in the photos below.

We started the day at the nearby Holiday Inn where Allan, Svetlana and their bridal party made their preparations for the day.  This is always an important time for us since it gives us a chance to get to know everyone involved and build some rapport with the bridal party which can make the rest of the day go so much better.  We had a blast getting to know this group and both felt quite welcome and at home with everyone.  After prep, we made our way to Mapleside where Allan and Svetlana managed to sneak in their first look just in time before the rain came.  Thankfully, the rain didn’t last long and we where able to make good use of that time inside the barn.  The skies cleared up shortly after and we had plenty of time to shoot outside and for the outdoor ceremony to go ahead as planned.

The reception that followed inside the barn was a fantastic night of dinner, music, and a whole lot of dancing.  As evening fell, the ambience inside the barn was just perfect and The Avenue kept the dance floor packed all night and everyone seemed to have an amazing time.

Svetlana and Allan – congratulations once again and thank you so much for allowing us to play such an important part of your day!  We had an amazing time and are thrilled with the images that we were able to create with and for you.  Here are some of our favorites with much more to come very soon!
