When we asked Chaya what her favorite memory from the day was, this is what she had to say:
“One moment that stands out, in particular, was seeing Andrew for the first time after a week of no contact. I was sitting up on the dias with my family when he entered the room and my heart just began racing. All these emotions and feelings just rose to the surface and began to spill over, to the tightening of my fingers and the tears that began to sparkle in the corners of my eyes. I was sort of just hit with this wave of awe and joy. Sort of understanding that all that I had wanted and waited for was finally here. “
