Meghan and Dan’s wedding at the Hyatt Arcade in Downtown Cleveland was a beautifully elegant event filled with love and laughter. Meghan and Dan have been together since high school so while everyone was extremely excited for this day to come, I doubt it came as a tremendous surprise to many who know them well. Sometimes, you just know when you have the one, but it’s just a a matter of waiting for the right time. After finishing school, getting established in their careers and settling into their lives in New York City, the right time had come.
Both Meghan and Dan where originally drawn the vaulted ceilings and mezzanines of the historic arcade and we where tasked by Meghan to capture feeling as part of their wedding day portraits. We made quick work of the prep photos in order to have more time inside the arcade as well as across the street at the library as well as East 4th street. The skies opened up on us just as we where attempting to make our way across the street to the library but we where able to duck around enough raindrops to have a few minutes on East 4th as well. We wrapped things up just in time for the ceremony which was officiated by Meghan’s long time friend and high school swim coach.
Meghan and Dan – you where both a pleasure to work with and we are so glad we got to be a part of your day! Here are some of our favorites images with lots more to come. Enjoy!
