Kara and Jeremy’s wedding at the Downtown Hilton in Cleveland went above and beyond everyone’s expectation of what a New Year’s Eve wedding could be. Kara’s vision of a winter wonderland event with lots of white flowers, candles, and sparkling lights came to life inside the Hilton ballrooms under the design and direction of Joe and his team at Joe Mineo Creative. Everything from the bouquets to the chuppah, the cocktail hour bars and place card tables, and especially the reception design was masterfully conceived and the hotel was truly transformed into a one of a kind space that only existed for that one evening.
But as beautiful as the setting was, what really made the day special was Kara and Jeremy themselves. Jeremy is a very personable and outgoing type who instantly puts those around him at ease. Kara may be a little more shy and reserved but her compassion and care for those around her are quite obvious to anyone who would take a minute to notice. They are the perfect match for each other and share a chemistry that was just a pleasure for us to photograph. They even endured a few VERY cold minutes out on the balcony on what was one of the coldest New Year’s Eves that Cleveland has had in a very long time. I know it wasn’t comfortable but we are so glad that we got to make those images!
In addition to getting to know the families and bridal party better, we also enjoyed seeing many familiar faces that night. We got to connect and catch up with several past clients as well as parents of clients and couldn’t be more grateful and honored by the kind words and referrals that made it possible for us to be there that night. (Thanks Elissa, Brad, and Ira!)
