This past Saturday, we had the pleasure of photographing Richard and Margie’s Hale Farm wedding at the beautiful St. Vincent Church, the oldest Catholic church in Akron, and their beautiful forest themed reception at the historic Hale Farm and Village in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. While the schedule of the day didn’t leave us with much time to work between the ceremony and reception, we really enjoyed what time we had with the couple and the bridal party at the historic village. Twilight can be an equally challenging and rewarding time to shoot and we are very happy with what we were able to produce with their help.
The reception dance floor was one of the busiest we’ve seen in a while. One of the highlights of the night was the arrival of the Swenson’s food truck near the end of the night for made to order burgers, fries, and shake. A perfect way to end an amazing celebration. Just thinking about it is making me hungry for a Galley Boy.
And of course, a huge shout out goes out to wedding planner Eileen Benson and her team at Elegance by ELM for pulling off another fantastic wedding!
Congrats, Richard and Margie, we had a fantastic time with you guys!
