A bride and groom embrace on stone steps in a lush, manicured garden with tall evergreens, celebrating their wedding. The elegant white building behind them has tall, arched windows. The bride's long train flows down the steps, perfect for their Cleveland reception. A stone urn planter is in the foreground.

A Summer Wedding at Cleveland's Global Center for Health Innovation

A flat lay of elegant wedding stationery including an invitation, response card, and details card for the ceremony. The set features sophisticated calligraphy and floral designs. The display is complemented by green leaves, a white flower, ribbon, a spool, and a blue patterned plate. A black and white photo shows a group of five women interacting joyfully in a room. One woman sits holding a cup, with rollers in her hair, while another standing woman styles her hair. Three other women laugh and engage with each other, creating a lively atmosphere during what appears to be preparations for an Akron wedding. A man, standing next to a window with patterned curtains, is adjusting his shirt sleeves. The light from the window and chandelier illuminates the scene, casting reflections. The logo "Genevieve Nisly Photography" appears in the top left corner, capturing a quiet moment before the wedding ceremony. A person wearing a white dress shirt with cufflinks is writing a letter at a desk, possibly preparing for a ceremony. A black watch is on their wrist. The close-up image focuses on their hands and the paper. The photo, taken in Cleveland by Genevieve Nisly Photography, features her logo in the bottom right corner. When thinking back on their wedding, Madeleine had this to say:

“My favorite moment was probably just being in the room surrounded by so many wonderful people that we love, cracking up at the speeches, and seeing everyone’s hard work (especially my mom’s) come together in such an amazing and creative way.
I think the time at the History Center was also great because it helped us transition from getting ready to actually appreciating and absorbing that we were about to commit to each other and celebrate with so many people that we love.”
And Philip had this to add about the first dance:
“We nailed our first dance.  We had practiced it so many times in the weeks leading up to it, and even did a quick run-through during cocktail hour.  When we finally came into the room and started, muscle memory took over and we hit the timing perfectly.  At the end of the dance, our friends and family rushed onto the dance floor to kick off the party.”
A huge thanks go out to the wonderful ladies at A Charming Fete for bringing Madeleine, Philip, and their parent’s visions that they worked so hard on to life!
