Bob and Mindy’s wedding at Gervasi Vineyard was an intimate celebration of love and family and we are so glad that we got to share in that experience with them. We loved capturing the little, seemingly insignificant moments between them and their children all throughout the day. The two little ones are young enough that they probably won’t have first hand memories of the wedding so we felt it was very important to document the day in such a way that they could see what a big role they played and how much their parents loved and cared for them on their wedding day. We loved seeing the little personal touches that Bob and Mindy brought, from the kilts and bagpipes to honor Bob’s Scottish heritage to the fact that Mindy was walked down the aisle by her oldest son. There are very few teenagers that will ever have the honor of walking their Mom down the aisle on her wedding day.
The day started with preparations in the Villas quickly followed by the ceremony in the pavilion. My favorite moment of the ceremony is when little Julia ran up to Mindy with her arms up stretched, and in true Mom fashion, Mindy scooper her up in her arms and held her during the vows. This was just another example that it’s always the things that don’t go exactly as planned that end up being the most memorable moments.
After the ceremony, we swept Bob and Mindy away to make some portraits of the newlyweds around the stunningly beautiful grounds around the pavilion. The late afternoon sun played right into our hands in the vineyards and we are really happy with what we where able to create for them.

James and Genevieve, I cannot express how much Bob and I appreciate everything you did for us to make our wedding day such a beautiful and memorable day.
