Carynne and Alex’s wedding took place on a beautiful Ohio fall day in the picturesque Chesterland area just east of Cleveland. Carynne and Alex first met in medical school back in 2011 and have been enjoying life’s activities together such as bowling, visiting wineries and breweries, seeing movies, and dining out with friends, all while finishing medical school together. Carynne is fun, vivacious, and wears her emotions on her sleeve. Carynne says Alex is a bit more reserved but with a wicked sense of humor and a tremendous intelligence and a knack for challenging those around him. Together, they make a perfect match and we are so glad we got to document their wedding!
The ceremony took place at Chesterland Community Church which sits on a beautiful plot of land complete with a creek running through a wooded area. After the ceremony, we saw that the sun was just starting to cut through the trees just off the parking lot so we grabbed the couple to make some of our favorite images of the day. Carynne then donned her rubber boots and made our way down to the creek as well. From there, we hopped on the shuttle and made a quick stop in Gates Mills for some fall color. We did our best to share our bridge time with another friendly wedding party but I think we ended up with the better position and angle. At that point, the rain was just starting to fall so it was the perfect time to head over the Landerhaven for the reception.
