We had such a great time with Marnie and Steve at their Fairlawn Country Club Wedding in Akron recently.  Everything went so smoothly and the families made us feel instantly welcomed into the fold.  We were able to capture some fantastic, intimate moments as a result.
Marnie’s beautifully appointed family home provided an amazing environment for their first look and outdoor photos.  We were able to get quite a bit done on the stone bridge leading up to the house before the heat chased on indoors to the O’Neil House.  There’s something about century old mansions that inspires such beauty and poise.  We could have shot there all day but we had a ceremony to get to!
Akron’s Westminster Presbyterian Church has special significance for Marnie’s family.  Marnie’s parents and grandparents before were both married there.  Marnie and Steve’s wedding means that a long running family tradition remains for another generation.
The outdoor ceremony at Fairlawn Country Club was a site to behold. Â It’s a bold move to hold a reception outdoors in Ohio, but when it works, it really pays off. Â As you can see below.
Marnie and Steve; your wedding exemplified everything weddings should be about. Â Family, friends, love, tradition, celebration, and more. Â We are so glad to be a part of it and we can’t wait to show you more!
