We recently had the pleasure of spending the day with Erin and Tommy during their wedding at the Union Club in Cleveland, Ohio.  Tommy and Erin originally met through Tommy’s soon-to-be sister in law, Anna.  Anna thought they should meet but Erin was a  little reluctant since he was in Columbus at the time, and Erin was in Cleveland.  They did finally meet after Tremont’s Santa Shuffle but it wasn’t until the second meeting at Speakeasy in Ohio City that the relationship really took off.
The wedding day itself was inviting, warm, and celebratory, even if there was a bit of a chill in the air outside. Â They had their first look in the library before we headed out on foot to explore around downtown Cleveland. Â Heinens on East 9th was considerate enough to let us come in a warm up a bit. Â The architecture there is stunning so we were super excited to finally make use of that.
Both Tommy and Erin are very close with their families and we really enjoyed capturing those relationships. Â They didn’t put together an official bridal party but their closest friends were always on hand. Â There was lots of laughter, a few tears, and a lot of hugs. Â The ceremony was heartfelt and sincere, with only one match of rock, paper, scissors. Â The dance floor during the reception that followed was packed from corner to corner the entire evening while the band played on.
The day flew by for us, and I’m sure it did for Erin and Tommy as well. Â Hopefully, we successfully recorded the best of those moments for years to come. Â Congrats, Tommy and Erin, we had a great time with you!
