Chris and Jenny’s marriage has been one of the most interesting we’ve ever photographed. The merging of two cultures – Indian and Jewish – gave us the opportunity to experience two weddings in one, with a Hindu ceremony on Friday, and a Jewish ceremony on Saturday.
This is the first of two posts covering Friday, the Indian celebration. The whole day, baraat, ceremony, dinner, and reception activities took place at the beautiful Cleveland Racquet Club.
We started outside with the groom’s parade, including a bedazzled horse and carriage, a live drummer, dancing, and amazing colors. We moved inside for the ceremony, with a gorgeous backdrop and flowers by Party Decor and the Budding Tree.
The Hindu ceremony was filled with beautiful traditions, symbolism, and fun! We moved on to a reception filled with activities including speeches, family histories, folk jams, and choreographed dance routines.
I hope you love the photos C&J, there is a lot more on the way!
