Dan and Jess’ Cleveland City Hall Rotunda wedding was such a unique and fun experience. Unique because we have never photographed an interfaith ceremony combining Dan’s Polish Catholic and Jess’ Jewish backgrounds and fun because, well, Dan and Jess are just a lot of fun to be around. Dan’s calm, thoughtful demeanor is the perfect compliment to Jess’ energy, enthusiasm and creativity. It’s the same kind of balance that Genevieve and I enjoy in our relationship, and I can say from experience that it works out wonderfully.
After some brief drama involving some tuxedo trousers (you know who you are; I won’t name names ;) ) Jess and Dan had their first look on the newly completed Public Square. The landscaping and design of the square is such a huge improvement over the previous design and we are so glad to have this gem right in the center of Cleveland. From there, we took off for the Flats to take in some of Cleveland’s old world industrial charm. We found some new nooks and corners to shoot in that we will definitely keep in our back pocket for the future.
Our final stop before City Hall was the incomparable Greenhouse Tavern. Dan and Jess had their first date here so we were so excited to crash the restaurent before they opened for a round of picklebacks and a few photos down the kitchen. Thank you so much to the staff for being so accommodating!
Dan and Jess; thank you so much for making us a part of your day. We had such a great time and we are so excited about the images we were able to capture. Below are some of our favorites. Enjoy!
