Stuart and Rebecca did what many would have thought was impossible – they planned their wedding in just a few short months from the other side of the world. While Stuart was born and raised in Australia, it was Rebecca’s career that brought her all the way from Ohio to the Land of Oz where she would meet and fall in love with her husband. When it was time to start planning, they got in touch with Melanie and her team from Oak and Honey Events who where instrumental in pulling all the rights strings to bring everything together in a very short amount of time.
When it came time to pick a location, they had the idea to hold the wedding on the farm that her uncle had purchased and had been renovating. It’s a beautiful spot of land near the Chagrin Reservation with a horse barn (although we were warned not to get too close) a stunning recessed garden which served as the ceremony spot, plenty of space for an wonderfully decorated tent, and a farm house. Evidently, the farmhouse has had a long road of renovation and still has a ways to go but it did serve as a perfect little safe haven for the bridal party pre-ceremony as well as a fantastic photo location. It was a perfect late summer day and we love what we where able to create with Stuart, Rebecca, their bridal party and families.
