Brandon and Megan were the very first couple to book us for a 2008 date which means it has been a loooong time since we first met them to talk about their wedding. We had been looking forward to shooting another wedding at The Mooreland Mansion as we had not been there for several years. Oddly enough, we ended up being there twice within a month which is fine with us because the mansion and gardens are beautiful and the staff is excellent.
Our plans for photos out in the gardens got jostled around a little after a particularly impressive thunderstorm rolled in. We were about a hundred yards away from the mansion when a bolt of lightning landed uncomfortably close, so we boogied back to the mansion to finish the photos inside.
Luckily, the sky broke after dinner and we were able to go back out and get some fantastic light at the absolute perfect time of day. We couldn’t have planned it better!

What a great event and venue. You guys should be proud.
