Michael & Sarah

High school sweethearts Michael and Sarah recently tied the knot at the Ernst & Young building and Aloft Downtown Cleveland and we got to be a part of it!  They wanted their wedding to have an urban, chic feel that really showcased the city fo Cleveland so the combo of the E&Y building with it’s wide open penthouse views and spacious lobby along with the tented space between Aloft and E&Y was the perfect choice.  Having everything take place within walking distance also helped simplify the logistics of the day which meant that they could better focus on having a relaxed, fun filled, easy day with their friends and family.

Both Michael and Sarah are easy going, fun loving and kind people who know not to take themselves too seriously.  Sarah says Michael is hardworking and driven, but a complete charismatic goofball at the same time and Michael describes Sarah as personable, funny, down to earth, and relatable.  These traits make a killer combo and we are so happy they found each other. We loved having their chocolate lab, Max around for a few “family portraits”.  He was a very, very good boy and was even trusted to walk the rings down the aisle during the ceremony much to the delight of the guests.

The gorgeous tented reception took place in the courtyard between the E&Y building and the Aloft.  Long time family friend Rick Eikoff provided floral decor and wedding day coordination throughout the day.  We loved the deep blue uplighting in the tent and the hanging stars over the dance floor.  It really created an amazing atmosphere that we worked very hard to preserve and capture in the images.  Shout Band brought their Motown grooves which kept the dance floor jam packed the entire night.  It was a beautiful evening to conclude the perfect day for Michael and Sarah.  Congratulations and mazel tov!
