After documenting a lot of Kael’s first year, I was eagerly awaiting his birthday and reaction to eating cake. I might have been more excited than he was about it. Sadly I was let down because Kael was “caked out” from his real celebration the day before and refused to eat a single bite. He did however enjoy flinging cake and covering himself with icing.
I was afraid it might be a whole year before seeing Kael and his whole family but thankfully, a new sibling will be arriving before then and that means more photo time :) Enjoy having mom and dad all to yourself Kael before your little brother/sister comes along! It will be so fun to see you as a big brother!
