It’s safe to say Brooks and Clara have a lot of experience with me photographing them since I do so every year. It may take a couple minutes for them to warm up but they seems to enjoy being photographed, Clara especially. I’m half convinced she’s practicing poses in the mirror before the portrait session.
This time however Brooks was holding a bit longer and refusing to smile until halfway into the session. Then Clara brought it out of him. It’s amazing how siblings have a gift for making the other laugh or be annoyed.
After trying various locations for their family portraits, this session took place downtown Akron. I was able to use some places I’m familiar with as well as trying some new ones.
