When I first met Nicole, she told me that she had been following Heather and myself for years, and was super excited to work with us for her wedding. We love working with people who love our work, so I’ve been looking forward to this shoot for a while!
Nicole, a photography lover, had a lot of ideas – she wanted to do a covered bridge, a field, railroad tracks, water, sunset and whatever bonus items we could find along the way. We finally settled on the Boston Mills/Peninsula/CVNP area and I think we nailed all of her wants and then some! We started at the Boston Store, which has a great stream, interesting herringbone barn and cool vintage gas station. We hit the I-80 underpass with its repetitive arches on the way to the Everett Rd Covered Bridge. It was the perfect spot for them, with the bridge and one of my all time favorite fields right around the corner. We finished up at Indigo Lake for a few railroad track photos (no trains run at that time) and some epic sunset photos.
Thanks for the great ideas N&M, I hope I did your vision justice! See you in May!
