Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with Tim and Laura for their engagement session in Akron, Ohio. Both Tim and Laura are very involved in the local acting community and have shared many hours at a small, community theater in downtown Akron. This theater has played a significant part in their relationship to this point, so meeting up there for the e-session was an obvious choice.
The temperature and light drops fast this time of year, so we started outside (on the roof, actually) then made our way back inside once we just couldn’t stand the cold anymore. One nice thing about the cold is that there is definitely no being standoff-ish to each other when you are trying to keep each other warm, although I don’t think that would have been a problem with these two anyway.

James, you did a beautiful job! You were so much fun to work with and we are just so thankful for what you’ve put together! We can’t stop lookin’ at em! We’re so excited to see the wedding photos! Thanks again!
Tim & Laura
I think I know Tim. Too funny. Hey Tim, did you go to NW Ave?
brian! holy smokes! i sure did go to nwa. how are you? i just clicked ona link to your website! how crazy is that? i remember when your wedding videography was just getting started…its awesome to see you doing it full time!
I am great. Have been doing videography (weddings and some corporate) and website design for 5 years full time now and loving it. Although I do miss camp and retreats. Congrats on getting engaged. Makes me feel old.
We are actually friends with the Nislys. Small world.
Oh yeah… James & Genevieve… great photos. Sorry to turn your blog into Facebook. hehe
We love the photos! I can’t decide which one is my favorite but the “City Lights” and “The Civic Theater” are on the top of list. You two make it very easy for the photographer to take great pictures. I don’t think Laura has a bad angle and of coarse Timmy your not so bad yourself.
these are so beautiful! hope you and your family have a great christmas! 🙂
dang, you guys are sexy
